Review by Kenneth Dait

The album "Royal Hawaiian Minstrel" by George de Fretes is a beautiful tribute to the traditional music of Hawaii. The album features a range of classic Hawaiian songs, including "Aloha Oe" and "Hawaiian War Chant," performed with a distinct and authentic sound.

De Fretes' expert guitar playing is a standout feature of the album, and his arrangements of the songs are both intricate and soulful. The album also features a range of other instruments, including ukulele, steel guitar, and percussion, which add depth and texture to the music.
