Review by Edgar Andrés García Hernández

Emanuel Lasky's album "Crazy" is a soulful and heartfelt collection of tracks that showcase the artist's impressive vocal range and emotive delivery. From the opening track "Crazy" to the final notes of "I Need Somebody," Lasky takes listeners on a journey through the ups and downs of love and relationships.

One standout track is "A Letter from Vietnam," a poignant ballad that tells the story of a soldier far from home and the woman who waits for him. Lasky's voice is filled with emotion as he sings of the sacrifices made by those who serve their country.

Another highlight is "I'm a Peace Loving Man," a funky and upbeat tune that showcases Lasky's versatility as a performer. The song's catchy chorus and infectious groove will have listeners dancing along in no time.

Throughout the album, Lasky's voice is supported by a talented group of musicians who bring depth and texture to each track. The production is clean and polished, allowing Lasky's vocals to shine.

About Emanuel Lasky

Emanuel was born on June 20th, 1945 and during his early years lived at 754 McDougall. This was in Detroits long-gone Black Bottom area on the citys east side, but his family moved across to the west side of Detroit when he was a teenager, to 11711 Dexter Avenue. Consequently he and his brother Charles left Eastern High to attend North Western, which at that time was not a million miles from Thelmas office on Grand River Avenue, where he started his recording career. He died June 23rd 2006 in Detroit, Michigan

Get ready you may be singing this again in 2020
Welfare cheese ? shitty weed? Sounds good ...I’ll have some please
I met him at a party in 1964; he told me he was going to make this record in two weeks. Tall guy very confidant in himself. Nice guy!
Love this record and everything I’ve heard on the label. I wonder who is the vocal group.
Trump's Farm Bill
I met him two weeks before he made this record. He told me to listen for it.
I had 10 of these with the large print and 50 of them with a small print second pressings great song.
Glad to hear the truth. He and my father was close friend
Trump giving farmers
The horrid excuse for a president sitting in the white house wants to bring us back to those days.
Trumps tax cut to corporations
I remember this well! We kids loved it. Brings back a lot of memories. Thank you so much. I had a copy as a kid but my cousins and I wore the groves off of it. :-)
Trump gave 7 million of welfare cheese to United Technologies...
I can have ice cream and you can't have none, 'cause you're on the welfare. Nya, nya!
This sounds much better than my copy, brilliant song. I just wish I could go back and save just one from being played to death and thrown in a box. Thanks for the upload!
This was NOT recorded at Motown but at United Sound Systems and had nothing to do with Berry Gordy or Motown. Don Davis produced it for Robert and Hazel Coleman who owned Thelma Records. Thelma was their daughter. The only tepid link to Berry Gordy is that Thelma was his first wife. Grand River is miles away from Grand Boulevard.
Thelma Gordy had been long separated &/or even divorced from Berry Gordy when she produced this.
I'm guessing 1961 for this Jam though it sounds 1959ish. He mentioned s "Mr. Kennedy" you see.
I've been waiting 50 years to hear this song again.  Thanks so much for posting it.
I woke up this morning and this song was ringing in my head. Man, this song rocked my cause my older brothers played this song to death.  Thanks!
