Review by Juan Ramon Zarco 胡安•雷蒙•扎尔科

The Dynatones have released their latest album And I Always Will, and it's a must-listen for fans of classic rock and blues. The album features a mix of original songs and covers, all of which showcase the band's exceptional musicianship and soulful vocals.

The opening track, "Heartbreak Hill," sets the tone for the album with its driving rhythm and catchy hooks. From there, the band takes listeners on a journey through various styles and moods, from the slow-burning blues of "Come Back Home" to the upbeat rock of "Dancing in the Moonlight."

One of the standout tracks on the album is the ballad "And I Always Will," which showcases lead singer John Doe's powerful vocals and the band's ability to create an emotional atmosphere. The song's lyrics are heartfelt and honest, making it a standout track on the album.

Reminds of the Catacombs Soul Club 1968
Wonder what one person dislikes this continually ?
Just came across this in my 45’s collection. The name meant nothing to me until I heard it. I certainly remember it. The year was 1966, I was 13 in the U.S.

Classical The Wheel
I first heard it in pre-northern soul days at the seminal Cross Keys Wednesday night disco in Hednesford in around 1968. Cut my teeth on a lot of those such records that were being played at the time and later became known as Northern Soul. Those were the days..
BELTER REMEMBERED 40 YEARS AGO THANKS FOR THE TOP POST KTF EVERYONE ! ! !
Just imagine a group of well dressed guys,Suited and Booted,Shades on strolling around the club-COOL!
The Dynatones were undergrad college boys attending Salem College in West Virginia. They recorded "Fife Piper" originally at Gateway Studios in Pittsburgh for St. Clair Records. The song caught on and the band rerecorded "The Fife Piper" again, for Hanna Barbera Records, that charted nationally during summer 1966. Fife player is Ray Filgar, now deceased. Gary Van Scyoc played bass and went on to become a member of Elephant's Memory, where he played with many of the greats, including John Lennon. Rounding out the band is Eddie Evans, keyboard and drummer Jack Wolfe.
thought this was the same song from the mindexpanders vol 2, guess i was wrong
Pat St. John played this on SiriusXM 60's a few minutes ago...I remembered the tune from way back when...and way back when was the last time I heard it.  Great instrumental!!  Thanks for posting it benokeh
