Review by Edwin Chikhani

Hommage, the album by Dinu Lipatti Clara Haskil, is a beautiful tribute to two of the most revered pianists of the 20th century. The album features Lipatti's interpretations of some of Haskil's most beloved pieces, as well as Haskil's renditions of some of Lipatti's most famous works.

The album is a stunning display of virtuosity and emotion, with Lipatti and Haskil's playing complementing each other perfectly. The two pianists were close friends and often performed together, and this album is a testament to their deep musical connection.

Listeners will be treated to a variety of pieces from composers such as Bach, Schumann, Chopin, and Ravel, all played with the precision and passion that made Lipatti and Haskil such celebrated musicians. The recording quality is excellent, capturing every nuance of the pianos' sound.
