Review by David Bovain

Venus, the album released by Dickie Valentine, is a timeless classic that showcases the singer's talent and range. The album features a collection of popular songs from the 1950s and 1960s, including the title track "Venus," "Unchained Melody," and "Blue Velvet."

Valentine's smooth and soothing voice is perfectly suited for these romantic ballads, and his performance on each track is impressive. His ability to convey the emotions of each song is truly remarkable, and listeners will find themselves swept away by the heartfelt lyrics and beautiful melodies.

The album also features a number of upbeat and cheerful tracks, such as "All the Things You Are" and "I'll Never Fall in Love Again," which provide a welcome contrast to the more emotional ballads. Valentine's energy and enthusiasm on these tracks are infectious, and listeners will find themselves tapping their feet and singing along.

Very special singer on a super song. I bought this record and played it to death. Lovely to hear it again
A nice one, Robert. I like this British treatment,  the Angels chorus  and big orchestra. This was heard quite a lot around 1959-1960 via BBC Light and R.Luxembourg..
An excellent job of marrying the sounds with the images. Thanks for sharing!
Nice job, Joe.
