Now What by Deep Purple is a solid addition to the band's discography. The album showcases the band's signature blend of hard rock and blues, with catchy riffs and powerful vocals. The opening track "A Simple Song" sets the tone for the album with its energetic guitar work and driving beat. "Weirdistan" and "Out of Hand" are standout tracks, with their heavy grooves and memorable choruses. The album also features some more experimental tracks, such as the psychedelic "Uncommon Man" and the acoustic ballad "Above and Beyond". OK Boys, almost 9 years after this splendid álbum, I'm quite sure the lyrics of "Hell to Pay" are about Ritchie Blackmore... Don't ask me why... I just know Ian Gillan definitely would: and they still hate each other.

Damn such a good song from the Legends, Gillan sounds a bit more nasal than usual on the higher notes but it's still great, Paice is one of my favorite drummers, Roger Glover is rocking, Steve Morse is a really good replacement for Blackmore although he doesn't even come close to Blackmore, Don Aiery sounds great & is filling perfect ly for Jon Lord, in all a really good song from a band that is nearly 50 years old

Although I don't like Morse's style, this solo is pretty awesome and energetic. Some keyboard parts remind me too much of Jon Oliva's Raise the curtain.
