Colonel Abrams - House Of Stone

ruxton

Review by Greg Tangey

House of Stone, the latest album by Colonel Abrams, is a soulful and captivating collection of tracks that showcase the singer's rich and emotive voice. The album is a testament to Abrams' talent as a songwriter, with each track offering a unique blend of R&B, funk, and soul that is both timeless and contemporary.

The album opens with the upbeat and funky "Trapped," which sets the tone for the rest of the record. Abrams' voice is powerful and commanding, backed by a tight rhythm section and slick guitar riffs. The title track, "House of Stone," is a slow-burning ballad that showcases Abrams' ability to deliver emotional and heartfelt performances.

Other standout tracks on the album include "Over and Over," a catchy and infectious tune that will have listeners dancing along, and "Table for Two," a beautiful and tender love song that highlights Abrams' impressive vocal range. The album closes with "The Truth," a powerful and soulful track that leaves a lasting impression.
