Clergy's latest album, Filler Up Mister, is a refreshing take on modern indie rock. With catchy hooks and clever lyrics, the band delivers a cohesive and engaging listening experience.
The album opens with the upbeat and energetic "Gasoline," setting the tone for the rest of the record. "Mind Your Manners" showcases Clergy's ability to blend punk rock influences with their own unique sound. "Punch Drunk" is a standout track, featuring a driving rhythm section and memorable chorus.
The album's slower moments, such as "Goodbye" and "The Other Side," provide a nice contrast to the more upbeat tracks. The band's musicianship is on full display throughout the record, with each member contributing to the overall sound.
