Burma Shave's latest album, Movin Up The Cattle, is a rollicking ride through the world of country music. The band's unique blend of traditional country sounds and modern rock influences is on full display in this collection of 12 tracks.
From the opening notes of "Cowboy Song," the listener is transported to a dusty, honky-tonk bar where the whiskey flows freely and the music never stops. Lead singer Hank Johnson's gravelly voice is the perfect complement to the twangy guitars and thumping drums.
The album's standout track is "Pickup Truck," a catchy tune that will have listeners tapping their toes and singing along. Other highlights include "Rodeo Queen," a ballad that showcases Johnson's emotive vocals, and "Barroom Boogie," a rollicking dance number that will get even the most reluctant partygoers on their feet.
