Review by Woodten Wong

USA 1975 by Black Sabbath is a monumental album that showcases the band's raw power and energy. The album captures the band at the height of their career, featuring blistering performances of classic tracks like "War Pigs," "Iron Man," and "Paranoid."

The album is a live recording of Black Sabbath's 1975 tour of the United States, and it perfectly captures the band's electrifying stage presence. The guitar work of Tony Iommi is particularly impressive, as he delivers searing riffs and solos that are sure to leave listeners in awe.

The album also features some lesser-known tracks, including "Killing Yourself to Live" and "Spiral Architect," which are just as powerful as the band's more well-known hits. The album is a must-listen for any fan of heavy metal or classic rock.

Considered by many to be the first heavy metal band, Black Sabbath was formed in 1968 by , , and in Birmingham, UK. The band's original name was the Polka Tulk Blues Band (later shortened to Polka Tulk) and later on changed to before becoming Black Sabbath inspired by an Italian horror movie of the same name. The original line-up lasted until 1979, after which Osbourne was fired and replaced by . The line-up changes would continue, with no line-up remaining intact for consecutive studio releases. Throughout the changes, only Tony Iommi and keyboardist , who also joined the band in 1979, would remain with Black Sabbath, although Nicholls would not always be credited as a full member. In 1997, Iommi, Butler, Ward, and Osbourne reunited, touring and releasing a live album in 1998, although a long-rumored studio release did not appear (the group attempted to record a new album in 2001 with producer but the sessions were scrapped). After that, the group periodically reunited to tour with Ozzy's "Ozzfest" tour. In 2004, longtime keyboardist Geoff Nicholls was replaced by for an Ozzfest tour. No reason was given for the replacement. In 2006, the original line-up was inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall Of Fame. In 2007, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Ronnie James Dio, and drummer (who were featured on 1981's "Mob Rules" and 1992's "Dehumanizer") announced that they would tour together as (with Iommi, who owns the Black Sabbath name, deciding to keep the Black Sabbath name solely for the original line-up in light of their Rock 'n' Roll HOF induction) to support a Dio-era greatest hits release, which also featured 3 new Dio/Iommi compositions. A brand new live album was released under the Heaven & Hell name that same year, followed by a studio album in 2009. In 2009, Osbourne sued Iommi over control of the Black Sabbath name. The lawsuit was settled the following year. In late 2011, it was announced that the original line-up would be recording and touring. Shortly, afterward, Bill Ward dropped out, stating he had been given a contract that was "unsignable". The three remaining members opted to continue without him. In 2013, the band released "13

I was there. Somebody threw a size 13DD boot at the guitarist of Lynard Skynrd and hit him square in the forehead. It staggered him and they walked off, flipping the crowd the bird. They came back a few minutes later and finished the set.
Was at this concert after graduating HS in 75. Love Sabbath and they were great, however some upcoming band called Kiss that opened the concert were impolite and upstaged the headliners imho.
My very first concert. Skynyrd, Frampton and Brownsville Station were the opening acts. Sabotage tour. And to set the record straight, the Starlite festival was not played at the auditorium in San Bernardino. It was an outdoor concert played at the Orange Show grounds in San Bernardino at the Stadium/race car track. It was a great first concert for a 16 year old kid. And if I remember correctly it cost about 5 bucks for a ticket. The going rate then.
Looking for Today has not been played live.
Can you send a recording from January 1976 where Ozzy signs Killing yourself to Live
I was there. One of my first concerts. I was 17
The idiots who cut down Ozzy's singing cannot deny his power and range at this show. Ozzy just destroys the Dio years all in this one concert.
I went to that show
Ozzy is just unbelievable here. His range and power, utterly amazing!!
Totally awesome..I collect all the bootlegs of Black Sabbath live of every show on everything tour. I never had this one though, but I always wanted a copy. This was is a very cool performance. I love time traveling back with these live recordings from the 1970s and imagining myself at those shows. I never Sabbath till the early 1990s, though I saw Ozzy solo at the end of the 1980s. Since then I've seen Black Sabbath 26 times live and met them once with the original line up in 1998 and met Ozzy a second time in 2001.
This show absolutely kicks ass!!! Black Sabbath rules! Besides going to the concerts all of my life, having seen Sabbath 25 times live in my life. Collecting all the bootleg live shows and rare albums has been a lifetime obsession as well. I especially love having all of the live Chicago bootlegs since I've lived here all of my life!! I have a huge bootleg collection of audio and videos.
I was there. Slade opened. Sabbath tried to do an encore but people kept throwing M-80s on stage. Crazy show. Amazing to here this after all these years.
Where can i get a shirt that ozzy is wearing in the video photo, he also wore the same one in California jam
Saw this show at Ampitheater,7th row . Iommis eyes big as saucers! Loudest show ever heard there! Tony played thru Rangemaster overdrive. Growing up in Aurora my wife and i saw 100s of shows there @ $8 a seat... Really miss that venue!
