Review by Mustafa Dagher

Arrogance's latest album, Prolepsis, is a stunning work of art that showcases the band's incredible musicianship and songwriting skills. From the opening track to the closing notes, Prolepsis is an immersive listening experience that takes the listener on a journey through a diverse range of musical styles and moods.

The album opens with the hauntingly beautiful "The Lighthouse," which sets the tone for the rest of the album with its intricate guitar work and soaring vocals. From there, the band explores a variety of musical genres, from the driving rock of "The Great Divide" to the dreamy, atmospheric "The Fall."

One of the standout tracks on the album is "The Last Day," a haunting ballad that showcases lead singer John Sprott's incredible vocal range and emotional depth. The song builds to a stunning crescendo, with the band delivering a powerful and cathartic performance.

First time hearing this band, not a big fan.
34:22 Cost of money - the soulful voice of Don Dixon and keyboards by Marty...then all voices...heaven...
Lovely album a great thing to spend a summer sunny day. Thanks for share
A great album! I wish someone would reissue it. Thanks for posting it.
Added to the "Step It Up and Go" by David Menconi playlist.
Bassist Don Dixon went on to produce R.E.M. and The Smithereens, among many others. I saw Arrogance several times when I was in college. Great band.
One of the most beautiful songs I ever heard
A real gem
Thrilled to find this. Thanks for posting
I'm from North Carolina. I'm 18, so Arrogance was obviously before my time. But my Dad used to go see them all the time at the Cat's Cradle. He has a whole bunch of their records too. So that's how I got into them. Such a great band.
this is not arrogant
Wonderful, thanks :)

@kingcrimson1972 Wow, that's cool.
