Review by Drexelle Bulda

The Apocalyptic Manifesto: A Retrospective Compilation by Apoptygma Berzerk is a must-have for fans of the Norwegian electronic band. This album features 16 tracks that showcase the evolution of the band's sound over the years.

From the early industrial-influenced tracks like "Burning Heretic" and "Kathy's Song (Come Lie Next to Me)" to the more synthpop-driven "Eclipse" and "Until the End of the World," this album provides a comprehensive overview of Apoptygma Berzerk's discography.

The compilation also includes two previously unreleased tracks, "Atom & Eve" and "The Genesis 6 Experiment," which fit seamlessly into the band's catalogue.

The Apocalyptic Manifesto is a great introduction for new fans and a nostalgic trip down memory lane for longtime followers. The album's production is top-notch, and the band's signature sound is as strong as ever.

Apotygma Warfare?
I used to loop this when I played Tetrinet...
2020 Electronic Warfare 2020
Soundbites coming from the 1984 movie VVAR GAMES? Sounds like something you'd hear in NORAD's HQ.
❣ ❣ ❣
oldschool ebm
Strong influenced by Portion Control and Nitzer Ebb :-)
One year later....
Does anyone know what the sound clips were taken from? Sounds like an old Pentagon press briefing...
this music is electronically sadistic to my sense :)
@Naranduil1 yes in the end a bit
Nicely made!
I had a dream that i was dancing to this song with a beautiful woman in a goth club.
Like old-school APOP? Check out the new "SDGXXV" album! Full on EBM/industrial/noise/Minimal stuff!!!
@XandraRenoKadaj Yeah!! Lovely Song...
i personally think the two who disliked this are some serious queers ! show yourselves punks !
The APB.....still better than 99% of any and all rap or hiphop music.
"Dear god grant me wisdom and grace"?
Thanks to you all for your answers. I'll go to sleep less stupid tonight !
Gracias @piperbrigadista !!!!!!!!!!!
The track "Burning Heretics" is inspired from the movie "The Name of The Rose" .. The voice samples are sampled from that movie, and another movie called "The Pit and the Pendulum"
