About Andy BSK
Andrej Belak aka Andy BSK was born in Velky Krtis, Slovakia. He started music production when he was 16 years old. He was always been into electronic music and grew up on music production from Marusha, Westbam, Charly Lownoise & Menthal Theo, 2 Unlimited, U-96, Mark Oh, Dune, Blumchen, Imperio, Pharao, Sash, Gigi Dagostino and many many more. He likes all styles of electronic music, like Hardcore, Gabber, Techno, House, Electro, Trance, Dubstep, Drum&Bass or Chillout. His first experience with creating music was on 16bit computer Commodore Amiga. He has created music in many kinds of music software, like Sountracker, Protracker or Octamed and he created more than 400 tracks. A couple of them were used in demos and games. Then he bought a PC with FL Studio and Reason. When he was 18, he started to learn playing music as DJ in many little Clubs in Slovakia but the situation around techno music was not good in those days. There was not much people listening to techno music in Slovakia. In 2007 he released his music under artist name Andy B on ELECTROGROOVE RECORDS (USA) and was the only one artist using this artist name. When this label ended its existence, he created his own label to help less known producers with their kick off. Andy B was forced to change his name to Andy BSK (Andy B SK-Slovakia) because after a couple of years were on the music scene more than four artists with the same artist name Andy B, but with different music styles. After six years of experience with digital label 4Beat Record and a lot of released tracks on labels like Intuition PT, Naghty Pills, Aktivists, Get On Down, amm. he started his own vinyl label. His favorite music producers are Goncalo M, David Moleon, Almir Ljusa, Chris Chambers, F.tek, G8, Fer Br, Omega Drive, Distek, Wyrus, Jeff Robens, ...amm. Nowadays he creates many remixes and works with other producers on new EPs. He concentrates on creation of high quality hardgroove techno tracks and wants to be among the leading producers on techno scene.
