#CLASSIC
Boogie Down Productions was always as positive and intelligent as it was hard and raw. Tribe and the rest always sounded more optimistic, while giving the same messages.
Plus, Monie Love and The Queen herself were treated and respected as colleagues, which I liked. Their message of equality and self respect included females.
Such a pivotal and exciting time
in Hip Hop.
