About 5 Sharks
US vocal group formed in the Bronx, New York, in 1963 by founding members Mark Dinep (lead), Steve Horn(bass), and background members Eddie Schwartz, Henry Levy, and Larry Rosensweig. This group put together a large body of work and recorded the classic Stormy Weather along with Acapella versions of Possibilities, Canadien Sunset, and Happy Teenager plus many other songs on Old Timer and Siamese record labels. In 1965, Kenny Bank and Henry Salas joined the group replacing Levy and Rosensweig. This group continued to record and perform until 1968 and also had a large body of work that can be heard on the Acapella recordings of So Much In Love, the haunting Flames 66, Teardrops Follow Me and Stand By Me among others on the Cat-Time and Siamese labels.

Comments
This is not the Eddie black's 5 Sharks. These are he Florals. Slim just took the group and gave them the name.
beautiful
Boy, I wish I still had my copies on multi color vinyl. I remember the day this record came into the store. Slim had a 25 count box and when he opened I saw about 10 multi color copies. Slim let me have 5 copies (instead of $$) for the couple of hours I worked that day.
Fantastic
Great record Eddie. Ours The Lytations was near the end although we didn't know it. # 107. Still love those multi - colored ones. I still have a copy of Why must we go to school by the Nutmegs on multi. Got it from the string. Slim said only 2 were pressed. From his lips to god's ears. By the way where did the thunder come from ? Tx, Jack Strong
Great sound good harmony Excellent lead George Domenici from The Vibraniques
I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS 'EDDIE BLACK' AS [LEAD SINGER] OF 'THE FIVE SHARKS.' IT'S JUST A 'GREAT ACAPPELLA SONG' TO 'PERFECTION.' ALSO,PS. [ MAY R.I.P. & 'LOVE YA, 'Mr.SLIM ROSE' OF 'TIMES SQ.RECORDS.']
