Review by Mohammed Sammar

The 219 Skiffle Group's self-titled album is a delightful collection of traditional skiffle tunes that are sure to get your toes tapping. The group's musicianship is impressive, with each member contributing their own unique style to the sound. The album is full of upbeat tracks that showcase the band's energy and enthusiasm for the genre. The standout tracks include "Freight Train," "Rock Island Line," and "Midnight Special." The album also features some slower, more contemplative tracks, such as "Lost John" and "Take This Hammer," which provide a nice contrast to the more upbeat tunes. The 219 Skiffle Group is a great album for anyone who loves traditional folk music and wants to experience the joy and energy of skiffle.
