She holds a degree in Geography from the University of Nevada, Reno, but her heart is, and always has been in the art of photography. A Great Basin native, living in the Pacific Northwest. Vanessa can be found leading yoga classes on the weekend, and wandering the shores of the Puget Sound collecting treasures and adventurous memories with her two children and husband. Vanessa loves the thrill of shooting couples and weddings, loves working with families, has taken head shots and custom stock photography for several small businesses throughout the westcoast, and has documented non-profit and local events in both Reno and Seattle. She is a regular contributor to the photography blog, ViewFinders and has had her art featured in the Reno Gazette Journal, Reno Tahoe Tonight Magazine, and Mabel Magazine.
