Vessels, the fourth album by Australian band Wolf & Cub, is a sonic journey that takes listeners on a wild ride through a range of musical styles and moods. The album features a blend of psychedelic rock, electronica, and experimental sounds, all anchored by the band's signature rhythm section of bass and drums.
From the opening track, "Seven Sevens", with its driving beat and hypnotic guitar riffs, to the dreamy, atmospheric "Papercuts", Vessels showcases the band's versatility and willingness to take risks. The album's standout track, "Smile", is a catchy, upbeat anthem that features a soaring chorus and infectious groove.
Throughout the album, Wolf & Cub display a mastery of texture and tone, using layers of synths, guitars, and percussion to create a rich, immersive sound. The production is top-notch, with every instrument and voice given space to shine.
