About Wishbone Ash
British rock band who achieved particular success in the early and mid-1970s with their most critically acclaimed records including Wishbone Ash (1970), Argus (1972), There's the Rub (1974) and New England (1976). Although the band lacked a definitive vocalist like Roger Daltrey (The Who), Ian Gillan (Deep Purple) or Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin), they were famous for popularising the twin lead guitar.
Formed in Devon in 1969 out of the ashes of the group .

That guitar sound is just perfect. Andy Powell is great. This tune has that classic Wishbone sound. Love this album. I think its the best since Illuminations.
sounds the same as the seventies
Album of the Future ...with simplicity and love ...
47 years..i don't believe...real music.
Masters......
WA can still bring it -- very listenable album, gains strength as it goes. But did they order that big eyeball from Generic Neo-Prog Covers R Us?
There aren’t many rock bands whose legacies are as strong as that of Wishbone Ash, and just as few have the same amounts of longevity and passion decades into their careers (if they even make it that far, of course). Wishbone Ash is one of the longest running rock outfits around, and for good reason. Having established themselves as a dominant force in the heavy prog realm with classics like Pilgrimage and Argus, as well as helped pioneer the twin lead guitar dynamic, the quartet has been producing solid work regularly since its inception. Blue Horizon is a very good album that provides exceptional tunes and songwriting. Give it a listen....
