Review by Mary Bradfield

Warg Buen's self-titled album, Warg Buen, is a powerful and dynamic release that showcases the band's impressive musicianship and songwriting skills. With a sound that is rooted in traditional heavy metal, but also incorporates elements of progressive rock and thrash, Warg Buen delivers a collection of songs that are both heavy and melodic.

The album opens with the blistering "Rise of the Dead", which sets the tone for what is to come. From there, the band explores a variety of moods and textures, from the epic "The Battle of the Gods" to the more introspective "The Last Stand".

Throughout the album, the musicianship is top-notch, with impressive performances from all members of the band. The guitar work, in particular, is outstanding, with intricate solos and riffs that will leave metalheads drooling.

But it's not all about the musicianship - the songwriting is also top-notch. The lyrics are intelligent and thought-provoking, and the melodies are memorable and catchy.
