The Von Bondies - Pale Bride

Review by Tyler Rich

Pale Bride is the fourth studio album by American rock band Von Bondies. Released in 2011, the album showcases the band's signature sound of gritty garage rock, infused with elements of punk, blues, and alternative rock.

The album opens with the hard-hitting track "Maeve", which sets the tone for the rest of the record. The song features heavy guitar riffs, pounding drums, and frontman Jason Stollsteimer's raw vocals. Other standout tracks on the album include "Pale Bride", "Not That Social", and "The Chancer".

While the album stays true to the band's roots, there are also some unexpected moments, such as the ballad "Only To Haunt You", which showcases a more vulnerable side to the band.
