Gospel music for amphetamine junkies. LOVE IT!!
This band was deep, and I fell deep into it when it came out and I was so young. No wonder I loved Lou Reed later on. This was counter culture at its best, at that time.
The cool rush of the song is one of the great musical highs. And that instrumental brawl at the end sure is good as it is ahead of its time.

I was 19 years old and doin' Bennie's, crosstops, and snortin' crystal meth and THIS album was like morning revellie. Very soon there after it was all about Electric LadyLand..From speed to psychedelics AND speed. God, I was a spacecase!! Two years later, just a simple junkie, searchin' for a vein and God rest my brain.
