This version is awesome. The only other person who could do this aside from Lynyrd Skynyrd and confederate Railroad the proper way would be Hank Williams JR.
One of the greatest songs ever imo but Shinedown is still tough to beat on the cover of it simply because Brent Smith absolutely pours his all into that song when he sings it

My dad played w them when he fixed there bus at a truck stop in ashland ohio drink beam and played hank jr ? waylon had a show some guy tryed showing my dad and tryin to school my dad on how waylon played lead my dad said no no son this is waylons style of picking so Waylon walked up behind dad grabbed his shoulder and said do i now hause so for 6 hrs daddy drank jack and beer and jammed got shit tkns of autographs singed ? so awesome
