Had to listen again to the original version to clear my ears after just hearing a John Williams Boston Pops version on my local jazz station. Terrible! Arranger uses a trumpet in place of the oboe and we get a bastardized version, not a full symphonic arrangement and not a swing band arrangement. Terrible.
grande compositore uno dei migliori

Feel sorry for the new generations listening to f…ing bad bunny! ?
This was the rock band of their time.
This guy playing the music is a big phony like just look at him how he's playing it only a phony would have such kind of eyes and would play such music.
used to listen to this song, but stopped listening to much big band stuff. reading Catcher in the Rye for class and remembered this. great song.
Came here to learn how to whistle this
One of the Big Band True Greats along with Glen Miller & Duke Ellington. Tommy got going in the 1940s as the Dorsey Brothers Orchestra.
Who is here because of Catcher in the Rye? raise your hands ?
Nice swing bet to this classic
So sweet and wonderful.
"Tube mute" used. One of the few uses of this item.

Reading my current book brought me back after two years when I first heard this from my band director?
Pues si, es difícil de silbar
Now I always associate this song with The Catcher in the Rye like it's main theme of the book. Interesting why.
