Review by Mohammad Ali Moinfar

The Swingle Singers' album "Fugue In D Minor" is a masterpiece that showcases the vocal group's exceptional talent and versatility. The album features a collection of classical pieces arranged and performed in the Swingle Singers' signature style, which combines intricate harmonies, scat singing, and jazz-inspired rhythms.

The album opens with the titular "Fugue In D Minor," a Bach composition that the Swingle Singers have arranged in a way that highlights the piece's intricate counterpoint and adds a playful, jazzy twist. The group's rendition of "Prelude in F Minor" by Chopin is another standout track, featuring a hauntingly beautiful melody that is perfectly suited to the Swingle Singers' ethereal vocal harmonies.

Other highlights of the album include "Gavotte" from Bach's "Suite No. 3," which showcases the group's impeccable timing and precision, and "Prelude in C Major" by Bach, which features a lively, upbeat tempo that is sure to get listeners tapping their feet.
