Comes As No Surprise is the long-awaited comeback album by iconic Australian band Sunnyboys. The album showcases the band's signature sound of jangly guitars, infectious melodies, and emotive lyrics that made them a cult favorite in the '80s.
The album opens with the upbeat and catchy "Can't You Stop," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The band's chemistry is evident on tracks like "The Impossible Dream" and "I'm Shakin'," where the guitar work of Richard Burgman and the vocals of Jeremy Oxley intertwine effortlessly.
Comes As No Surprise also features some slower, more introspective tracks like "It's a Game" and "Love to Rule," which add depth and variety to the album. The album ends on a high note with the upbeat and optimistic "Pocket of Change."
