Review by Pavel Ciorici

The self-titled album Spaceark by Spaceark is a unique and groovy blend of funk, soul, and psychedelic rock. Released in 1975, the album features the band's signature sound of funky bass lines, jazzy horns, and soulful vocals.

From the opening track "Welcome to My Door," the listener is transported to a world of funky grooves and catchy melodies. The album's standout track, "Do What You Can Do," is a funky and upbeat anthem that showcases the band's musical prowess and infectious energy.

Spaceark's music is both timeless and ahead of its time, with elements of jazz, funk, and rock that would later influence the likes of Prince and Parliament-Funkadelic. The album's production is top-notch, with a clear and crisp sound that allows each instrument to shine.

The lyrics on Spaceark are introspective and thought-provoking, touching on themes of love, life, and the human experience. The band's lead vocalist, Carol Hatchett, delivers each line with soulful passion and a powerful voice that commands attention.
