Review by Linda Fisher Thornton

The album Tchaikovsky Grieg Piano Concertos by Sondra Bianca and The Pro Musica Symphony Orchestra of Hamburg conducted by HansJurgen Walther composed by Tchaikovsky & Grieg is a masterpiece of classical music. The album features two of the most renowned composers of all time, Tchaikovsky and Grieg, and the performances by the orchestra and soloist are exceptional.

Sondra Bianca's piano playing is nothing short of breathtaking, as she displays her virtuosity and technical mastery in both concertos. Her interpretation of the music is sensitive and nuanced, and she brings out the emotional depth of the pieces with elegance and grace.

The Pro Musica Symphony Orchestra of Hamburg, under the baton of HansJurgen Walther, provides a rich and full-bodied accompaniment to Bianca's solo performances. The orchestra's playing is precise and dynamic, and they bring out the full range of color and expression in the music.

The album features two of the most beloved piano concertos in the classical repertoire, and the performances by Bianca and the orchestra are among the best. The Tchaikovsky concerto is a grand and sweeping work, full of drama and passion, while the Grieg concerto is more intimate and introspective, with a hauntingly beautiful melody.

A video of Sondra Bianca's Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto is out.
Do you know if this performance is played by Sondra Bianca? Is it the sound source of the album released under the name of Albert Cohen? ??
Did the records of Tchaikovsky's piano concertos by Karl Bernhard, Suzanne Auber, and Wilhelm Strauss all have the same sound source? Only Albert Cohen's records are not available and can not be heard.

Thank you for the information on her aliases. I have several of the albums pictured.
Is this a sound source from a cassette tape? If possible, I would like to listen to one movement in full in one video. Is this a CD?
Nice and straight just like it should be in true 1950s style .
All is excellent till the pianist reaches the broken triplets (with the third note left out) and chooses the play them virtually as duols. A curious effect comes when the orchestra repeats them the correct way. Otherwise the mysterious lady (the name sounds like an alias, like the accompanist Bianca Ritorno - the same lady?) plays with vigor, nerve, and poetry.
