Review by Sara Froiland

XTC is the twelfth studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released in 1999. The album was produced by Rush and Peter Collins and features a more stripped-down sound than their previous work.

The album's opening track, "Test for Echo," is a hard-hitting rocker that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Other standout tracks include "Driven," "Half the World," and "Virtuality," which showcase Rush's signature blend of complex instrumentation and thought-provoking lyrics.

XTC also features a number of slower, more introspective tracks such as "Resist" and "Limbo," which provide a welcome contrast to the album's more aggressive moments.

Summary by Sara Froiland

XTC is a solid addition to Rush's catalog and a must-have for fans of the band's unique brand of progressive rock. While it may not be their most groundbreaking work, it is certainly a worthy addition to any collection.
