On advice from , Hawkins toured Canada in 1958 where he found instant success in Hamilton, Ontario, and later settled down in Mississauga before moving to Stoney Lake, just outside of Peterborough, Ontario, in 1970. Usually touring and sometimes recording as And , Hawkins is legendary for his skill as a talent scout & mentor. His band had an ever-changing lineup with many members going on to successful careers elsewhere. Notable in his career was the December 1969 stay by & at his home in Mississauga, Ontario. Thank you
Great tune
Dion's version is the best
this version makes Dion's version sound really bad- and i absolutly love Dions version. Great arrangement .
One of the earliest recordings of Levon Helm on drums; he was always a rock solid time keeper
Ronnie Hawkins was the Led Zeppelin of his time.
thanks-
RIP, Hawk.

Very Very nice !!! smooth!
Одесса - жемчужина у моря)
According to Vintage Rock Mag, this song was written about a Prostitute.... but the teens never knew. Sounds like Sam (the man) Taylor on the tenor sax?
Fantastic timeless recording!
me too!!!!!!
I like the music of the good old times
