Review by James Oakes

Reese & Santonio's album Truth Of Self Evidence is a masterful display of house and techno music. The duo, known for their groundbreaking work in the Detroit techno scene, have created a collection of tracks that showcase their ability to blend classic sounds with modern production techniques.

From the opening track "Bounce Your Body to the Box," Reese & Santonio set the tone for the album with driving beats and infectious hooks. The title track "Truth Of Self Evidence" is a standout, with its pulsing bassline and hypnotic synth melodies. "How to Play Our Music" is another highlight, featuring a catchy vocal sample and a groove that is impossible not to dance to.

Throughout the album, Reese & Santonio's attention to detail is evident. They expertly layer sounds and textures to create a rich sonic landscape that is both intricate and inviting. The album's production is top-notch, with each track sounding crisp and clear.

WOW!!! Thank you for posting this. A best friend of mine (we use to DJ together for many many years a long time ago) that passed away from brain cancer introduced me to this (on vinyl) back in 89-90. I have been searching the internet unsuccessfully for a long time. Love the video you posted with this too. TU TU TU.

I remember using manual sampling to run parts of this into my first ever mix tape in '88. What a twisted path that sent me down. Makes me feel 20 again, luv it!
