Review by Stephen Bunn

The Plainsmen have once again captivated audiences with their latest album, The West Is As Wild As Ever South. The album showcases the band's signature sound, which is a blend of country, folk, and Americana music. The lyrics are poignant and introspective, with themes of love, loss, and the beauty of the American West.

The album opens with the haunting track "Ghost Town," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The lead singer's voice is powerful and emotive, and the instrumentation is understated but effective. The album's standout track is "Desert Rose," which is a beautiful ode to the rugged beauty of the Southwest. The song's melody is catchy and memorable, and the lyrics are both romantic and melancholy.
