Pink Martini - Joli garçon

Review by Víctor Martínez Martí

Pink Martini's album Joli garçon is a delightful collection of French songs that will transport listeners to the streets of Paris. With lead vocalist China Forbes at the helm, the band delivers a range of classic French tunes including "Je ne veux pas travailler" and "Sympathique" that are sure to get toes tapping. The album also features collaborations with French artists such as Philippe Katerine and Georges Moustaki, adding a touch of authenticity to the overall sound. The arrangements are beautifully crafted, with lush strings and brass instruments that complement Forbes' silky vocals. Joli garçon is a must-have for fans of French music and anyone looking to add a touch of sophistication to their playlist.
