"Ou est le Soleil" is the fifth studio album by the legendary singer-songwriter, Paul McCartney. Released in 1989, this album features an eclectic mix of pop, rock, and electronic sounds.
The album opens with the upbeat and catchy "Figure of Eight," which sets the tone for the rest of the record. McCartney's signature melodies and lyrics are present throughout the album, but he also experiments with different styles, such as the reggae-infused "Ou est le Soleil" and the synth-heavy "Distractions."
The album is not without its flaws, however. Some of the tracks, such as "We Got Married" and "Put It There," feel a bit too sentimental and saccharine. Additionally, the album's production can be a bit dated at times, particularly on the electronic tracks.
