Review by Octaviana Kadwin Galih Charolina

The New Trombone Collective has released their latest album, "Collective," and it's a masterful display of the trombone's versatility and range. The album features a diverse selection of tracks, from classical pieces to jazz standards, all performed with precision and passion.

One standout track is "Mondriaan," a composition by Dutch composer Jacob ter Veldhuis that takes inspiration from the abstract art of Piet Mondrian. The piece features intricate rhythms and harmonies, and the collective's performance is both technically impressive and emotionally stirring.

Another highlight is the group's rendition of Duke Ellington's "Caravan." The trombone's rich, deep tones carry the melody, and the collective's improvisational skills are on full display as they weave in and out of each other's lines.
