The recording was originally made on February 4th, 1926. Victor 20172 was removed from the catalog in May of 1940. The label is clearly a later reissue of that 1926 record. I owned that same re-issue myself. Thanks to the website of the Encyclopedic Dictionary of Victor Recordings at ucsb.edu for the info.
