Sound of Stereo by Model 500 is a must-listen for fans of electronic music. The album features nine tracks that showcase the Detroit-based artist's ability to create hypnotic beats and melodies that transport listeners to a futuristic world.
The opening track, "HI NRG," sets the tone for the album with its pulsing bass and infectious rhythm. "Electric Night" and "Infoworld" build on this foundation with intricate layers of synths and samples that create a sense of otherworldly energy.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Starlight," which features haunting vocals and a driving beat that builds to a euphoric climax. "Digital Solutions" and "The Future Is Now" are also noteworthy for their use of spacey sound effects and intricate percussion.

Even if these were already found on YouTube I decided to post these Model 500 tracks anyway. I had many of the B sides posted from a while back and felt they needed to be complemented by more versions.
A great version from, in my opinion, early Detroit Techno's greatest producer. Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson and Juan Atkins were all great at what they did but for me Juan Atkins was always that little more exciting, daring and irresistible (his music I mean) .
this is on a tape i recorded off Stu Allan's radio show (Manchester, UK) in 1988. Youtube came along 20-odd years later and I found this...but for the life of me I've never been able to identify another spooky acid /deep house track from the late 80s and that tape with the lyric: "dangerous life /livin in the city". female vocal, then the verse is a spoken male vocal with pitch-shifted delay on it - the only words i remember /could make out being "it's like a ...[indecipherable]" - maye be OP regine /another of you ageing hipsters can help? my mate rik and i would be very happy.
