Old Fighters is the ninth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter, Matthew Good. Released in 2018, the album features ten tracks that showcase Good's signature blend of alternative rock and folk influences.
The album opens with "Decades," a hauntingly beautiful track that sets the tone for the rest of the record. Good's vocals are strong and emotive, with lyrics that explore themes of aging and mortality.
Other standout tracks on the album include "Days Come Down," a melancholic ballad that features a stunning piano melody, and "Men at the Door," an upbeat rock song with catchy hooks and memorable lyrics.
Throughout Old Fighters, Good's songwriting is top-notch, with each track offering something unique and compelling. The production is also excellent, with a warm and organic sound that complements Good's voice and guitar work perfectly.
