Mariana Sadovska - Just Not Forever

Review by Ratul Minhaz

Just Not Forever is a remarkable album by Mariana Sadovska that showcases her exceptional talent and unique style. The album features a collection of traditional Ukrainian folk songs that have been reimagined and given a contemporary twist by Sadovska.

The album opens with the hauntingly beautiful track "Zamist' Okulyariv" which sets the tone for the rest of the album. Sadovska's vocals are powerful and emotive, and she effortlessly blends traditional Ukrainian music with modern sounds.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Oy Na Horody," which features a driving beat and an infectious melody that will have listeners tapping their feet. Sadovska's voice soars on this track, and she is accompanied by a chorus of backing vocals that add depth and texture to the song.

Another highlight of the album is "Dziady," a haunting ballad that showcases Sadovska's ability to convey emotion through her voice. The song is stripped back, with just a few instruments accompanying Sadovska's vocals, creating a sense of intimacy and vulnerability.
