Review by Rika Susan Theron

Mago Zurlì's album Cappuccetto Rosso is a delightful mix of traditional Italian folk music and modern sounds. The album's ten tracks showcase the band's impressive musicianship and creative songwriting, with each song offering a unique blend of acoustic and electronic instruments.

The album's title track, "Cappuccetto Rosso," is a standout with its catchy melody and playful lyrics. The song features a combination of acoustic guitar, accordion, and electronic beats, creating a modern twist on classic Italian folk music.

Other notable tracks include "La Luna e la Strega," a haunting ballad with delicate piano and violin melodies, and "La Festa dei Morti," a lively tune with a funky bassline and festive accordion riffs.

Throughout the album, Mago Zurlì's dynamic vocals and harmonies add depth and emotion to each song. The band's ability to seamlessly blend traditional and modern elements makes Cappuccetto Rosso a truly unique and enjoyable listening experience.
