Koto Rofo's self-titled debut album is a unique and captivating blend of electronic and world music. The album features a variety of instruments, including the koto, a traditional Japanese stringed instrument, which gives the music a distinct and exotic flavor.
The album opens with "Koto Rofo," a track that sets the tone for the rest of the album with its pulsing beat and intricate melodies. "Nebula" is another standout track, featuring haunting vocals and a driving rhythm that builds to a crescendo.
Throughout the album, Koto Rofo showcases their skill at blending different musical styles and influences. "Sahara" features Middle Eastern-inspired melodies, while "Samba de Janeiro" has a distinctly Brazilian vibe.

About Koto Rofo
Italian synth group started in the early 1980s, with tracks conducted and arranged by and produced by .
In 1989, bought the rights to the catalogue, allegedly including the rights to Koto's music and name. They asked the Dutch producer to re-record and remix some of Koto's old tracks (Anfrando Maiola eventually won back the rights to the Koto name).
