Producer & owner of established in Paris. Record collector since 1993, marked & inspired for life by the golden era of house music (1990-95). Definitely part of the new Deep House music scene that is emerging from France at the moment, Laurent, aka Kool Vibe, was born in Paris. Thanks to his father's large vinyl collection, he grew up surrounded by all kinds of music but definitely had a crush on American black music (soul, funk, r'n'b, disco). He discovered House Music in 1989 listening to radio stations such as Maxximum 105.9, FG 98.2 and Nova and dancing to the fresh new sounds of House and Acid House at the legendary Boy's club thanks to DJs such as DJ Deep & Laurent Garnier . First emotions on the dance floor : Mr. Fingers (Larry Heard), Sueño Latino, Adeva (Smack Productions), Ten City, Robert Owens produced by Frankie Knuckles and David Morales , Photon Inc. (DJ Pierre), Three Generations (Kerri Chandler), C+C Music Factory (Robert Clivilles & David Cole), Coldcut feat. Lisa Stansfield. During the 90s, his addiction to the Garage and Deep House clubs of the French capital, notably Le Queen and the Kit Kat after parties, and his passion for the NYC and New Jersey sounds encouraged him to start his record collection. In 2005, he threw himself into music production. Kool Vibe's music today reflects the best of the 90s House Music sound that he manages to capture so well. In 2011 and 2012, his first releases have been cult tracks out on and . In March 2013, he launched his very own label , which therefore contributes to revive that US deeply-rooted sound from the 90s releasing on vinyl only.
