Birds Can't Row Boats Leavin Blues is a remarkable album by the legendary Johnny Winter. The album is an incredible blend of blues and rock, and it showcases Winter's exceptional guitar playing skills. Winter's soulful voice is also on full display, as he belts out each song with a passion that is both raw and emotive.

The album features a mix of original songs and covers, each one expertly arranged and performed. The opening track, "Leavin' Blues," sets the tone for the album with its catchy melody and infectious groove. Other standout tracks include "Mean Town Blues," "Rollin' and Tumblin'," and "I'm Yours and I'm Hers."

Winter's guitar work is particularly impressive on this album, as he effortlessly blends blues riffs with rock and roll energy. His solos are electrifying, and they add an extra layer of intensity to each song. The album's production is also top-notch, with each instrument and vocal being crystal clear and well-balanced.

If I heard this song on the radio I would never guess it was Johnny Winter.
1st time hearing this ! Not bad.??❤️?
Can someone tell me the source of the version that’s playing in this video?
early stuff very good
It is said that this song mocks Bob Dylan :
How and why?
I can' t understand the lyrics.
The single pictured does not play this version!
very cool, only picture him with a firebird or laser, probobly playing a mustang, he loved that guitar
This version of "Birds Can't Row Boats" must be the FIRST/Original that Johnny Winter did. I have Johnny Winter's "First Winter" album, 1968 I suppose on the Buddah record label. It, too, has "Birds Can't Row Boats." My guess is that the original, that you post here, and Roy Head and the Traits (also from Texas, used the same organ and electric guitar (12-string?) guitar backing tracks. Thank you very much for posting this masterpiece. Charles L., Raleigh, N. C.
