Review by Md. Shahidul Alam

Giants of Jazz is an album by Johnny Dodds that showcases his incredible talent as a jazz musician. The album features some of the most popular jazz standards of the time, including "Wolverine Blues" and "Perdido Street Blues".

Dodds' clarinet playing is the highlight of the album, and his virtuosic technique and soulful phrasing are on full display. His improvisations are both expressive and technically impressive, showing off his mastery of the instrument.

The other musicians on the album, including cornetist Kid Ory and pianist Lil Armstrong, are also top-notch and provide excellent support for Dodds. The group's tight-knit playing and sense of musical interplay make for a cohesive and enjoyable listening experience.
