Hopeton Lewis' album "Take It Easy With The Rock Steady Beat" is a classic example of the smooth and soulful sounds of rocksteady. Released in 1967, the album features Lewis' signature vocals and catchy rhythms that are sure to get listeners grooving.

The album opens with the title track "Take It Easy," a laid-back tune that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Other standout tracks include "Sounds and Pressure," a song about the struggles of everyday life, and "Run Down," a song about the hardships of poverty.

Lewis' vocals are smooth and soulful, perfectly complementing the mellow grooves of the rocksteady beat. The instrumentation is tight and well-arranged, with the bass and drums providing a solid foundation for the guitar and keyboard melodies.
