About Gold
French band from Toulouse, mainly popular during the 80s.
1982-1984 Formed by Émile Wandelmer (vocals, guitar), Jean Jacques Dourmel(lead guitar), Vincent Guion (vocals,bass), Bernard Mazauric (keyboards) and Étienne Salvador (drums).
The group made the first LP (wea 58433) but without success
In 1984 Vincent Guion & Jean Jacques Dourmel left the band.
V Guion is a very important composer for the band.
1984, the band was : Émile Wandelmer (vocals, guitar), Lucien Crémadès (lead guitar, backing vocals), Alain Llorca (bass, backing vocals), Bernard Mazauric (keyboards) and Étienne Salvador (drums). Gold made a second LP. It looks like the first LP but there is a new track : "Plus près des étoiles" and others tracks aren't in this LP.
After Plus près des étoiles, the band are many hits.
Émile Wandelmer left the group in 1990. Alain Llorca left in 2004. Throughout the years, various musicians have joined and/or left the band: Joël Moulin (guitar), Jean-Guy Pichoustre (guitar, vocals), Pascal Puybonnieux (bass), David Bouad (bass).

mdr ! bcp de daubes dans les années 80 ! ...les gens étaient surtout positif au sida ...banane ! le chomage était au max + de 2 millions !...80 les années fric , frime et fils de pub$ , casimir et le club Dorothée !...avec le coca et les mac DO ....! que de la merde !

les boat-poeples ... en 1987, un an après la sortie de cette chanson, un navire rempli d'immigrés vietnamiens qui fuyaient " l'enfer communiste " pique le nez sur un ilot taiwanais de la mer de chine. bien mal lui en a pris car ses occupants son tués jusqu'au dernier par la marine taiwanaise, y compris les enfants en bas-âge, qui ensuite enterre les corps à la va-vite pour dissimuler ce dont en ne sait pas bien s'il s'agissait d'une bavure ou d'un simple massacre ... faut pas toucher au " monde libre " !
