Francesco Calabrese (born in Naples - March 10, 1943)
Before they recorded as a duo, they took part of a group containing 8 musicians all named Franco. That explains the numbers in their duo name. They choosed to write songs under their alias , first getting signed by . In 1968 they scored a huge hit (), participating at "Disco per l'estate" competition. After changing label to , Franco Romano lost interest in music and specialized in health physics. That was the end of this duo. Francesco Calabrese continued his solo career for some years.
