Fossils - Summer Coco

Review by Mathieu DUval

Fossils' latest album, Summer Coco, is a refreshing addition to the indie rock scene. The Kolkata-based band has once again managed to capture the essence of their hometown's music culture and blend it with their unique sound.

The album's opening track, "Bishakto Manush," sets the tone for the entire album with its groovy bassline and catchy guitar riffs. The album then takes a more mellow turn with tracks like "Purbo Digonte" and "Amar Shonar Bangla," which showcase the band's ability to create beautiful ballads.

The standout track on the album is undoubtedly "Shohor," with its infectious chorus and energetic guitar solo. The song is a perfect representation of the band's ability to create music that is both uplifting and introspective.
