Epitaph - These Rotten Remains

Review by Robin Danehav

Epitaph's latest album, These Rotten Remains, is a masterpiece that showcases the band's incredible musicianship and songwriting abilities. The album is a perfect blend of metal, punk, and hardcore, which makes it a unique and refreshing listen.

The opening track, "The End of the World," sets the tone for the entire album with its heavy guitar riffs and pounding drums. The vocals are raw and powerful, adding to the intensity of the song. The second track, "No More Heroes," is a fast-paced punk rock anthem that will have you jumping and moshing in no time.

As the album progresses, Epitaph keeps the energy level high with tracks like "Broken Dreams" and "The Last Stand." The band's ability to seamlessly blend different genres is particularly evident in "Dead and Gone," which features a melodic chorus that contrasts with the heavy verses.

The production on These Rotten Remains is outstanding, with every instrument and vocal perfectly balanced in the mix. The guitar solos are particularly impressive, showcasing the band's technical skills.

These guys were gods to me in my youth. Loved Megadeth, Testiment, Slayer, etc. . I wanted to be as cool they were.
puede ser mejor.
Loved Nimbleslush and their Primus ethic, But I greatly prefer Epitaph. Stronger band.
Is this remixed from the original studio recordings or is it just a rebalance of left and right channels? It sounds so wrong with the one guitar essentially missing. The interplay between the two guitars is one of the most important aspects of the record. I just listened to the cassette today, so, this sounds so extra wrong
I like this song.
One of the best bands.....with exception to NIMBLESLUSH
Best band I saw in High School. Their performance changed my way of listening to music and opened my mind to new genres.
Fucking solid. Never knew there were any decent metal bands from my town.
