En Directo by Diana Ross and The Supremes with The Temptations is a live album that showcases the incredible talent of two iconic Motown groups. The album was recorded during a series of concerts in 1968 and features some of the most beloved songs from both groups.
The album opens with a rousing rendition of "With a Song in My Heart," which sets the tone for what is to come. The energy and excitement of the live performances are palpable throughout the entire album, as the two groups trade off on some of their biggest hits.
One of the standout tracks is "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me," a duet between Diana Ross and Eddie Kendricks of The Temptations. Their voices blend together perfectly, and the crowd can be heard cheering and clapping along.
Another highlight is the medley of "Stop! In the Name of Love" and "Come See About Me," which features the full force of both groups singing together. The harmonies are tight, and the audience is clearly loving every minute of it.

Hugely successful female vocal group formed in 1961, after initially after being called from 1959 to 1960. Their best-known and most stable lineup was Diana Ross, Florence Ballard and Mary Wilson, in which configuration they became Motown's top act of the 1960s, though of that line-up only Wilson remained in the group by the time of the 1970s disco incarnation represented here.
The Supremes changed name in early 1967 to Diana Ross & The Supremes. Motown president stated that the name change was done so that Motown could demand more money from live bookings, but rumors began to spread of an approaching Diana Ross solo career.
At that time member Florence Ballard had begun drinking and occasionally missing performance and, by June 1967, was replaced by Cindy Birdsong, a member of Patti LaBelle & The Blue Belles.
In January 1970, Diana Ross & The Supremes gave their final performance and Ross began her solo career. Jean Terrell replaced Diana as the lead singer and thereby renaming the group back to The Supremes.
Inducted into Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 (Performer).
